Rotation Test Identifies errors which would produce reverse direction of the rotation. For example, the sequence of the output leads of two windings are inverted. It’s possible to enabled up to three tests (useful in the case of multi-speed motor stators).
The test permits to apply a double-phase sinusoidal testing signal (U-V-GND) or a three-phase sinusoidal testing signal (U-V-W-GND) on the windings leads with a frequency of 1000HZ.
A magnetic probe located inside the stator will read the direction of the magnetic field.
For stator with separate not coupled windings it is supplied a special magnetic probe to detect the magnetic field.
