These passive brakes are suitable for testing AC-DC low speed motors (with gear box) from 1W to 2-3KW with low speeds and high torque.
The main characteristics of these brakes are:
- Very high torque with reduced brake dimension
- Excellent torque control also when the motor is not running
- The residual torque is less than 5% of the maximum torque
